About StormEdge
What StormEdge is
StormEdge is an edge security platform: a reverse proxy layer that sits in front of your web applications and APIs, inspecting traffic before it reaches your origin servers. It filters malicious HTTP requests, absorbs DDoS traffic, and enforces configurable WAF rules without requiring changes to your existing codebase.
Why it exists
Most teams don't want to run and tune their own request-filtering infrastructure. StormEdge exists to make edge security something you point your DNS at rather than something you build and maintain yourself.
How it works
Integration is DNS-based: you update a CNAME or nameserver record to route traffic through StormEdge's edge network. From there, requests are evaluated against WAF and rate-limiting rules before being forwarded to your origin. No agents, SDKs, or code changes are required on your end.
